2010 Delegate's Workshop--Agenda and Details

In preparation for the Area 75 Delegate's participation at the A.A. General Service Conference, we here in Southern Wisconsin hold the Delegate's Workshop. This is one of the means the Delegate uses to gather input from groups and districts. During this very participation-oriented workshop, we will be working in committees and we will be using the actual General Service Conference Agenda Items for each committee.

The Delegate's Workshop will be held on March 21, 2010 at the Madison Senior Center. 330 W. Mifflin St., Madison, WI.

9:00 a.m. Open with Serenity Prayer. Twelve Concepts (read by Alt. Delegate). Brief Introduction and Remarks by the Area75 Delegate on the General Service Conference.

9:10 to (about) noon--Break up into committees ( Attend your choice of committee, Committee Chairs indicated below. A Recording Secretary is then to be selected from each committee):

Cooperation With the Professional Community (C.P.C.)--Randy R.

Corrections--Les M.

Finance--Todd U.

A.A. Grapevine--George P.

Literature--John B.

Policy/Admissions--Nancy H.

Public Information--Liz Y.

Report & Charter--Nancy G.

Special Needs--Lee Ann F.

Treatment Facilities--Fred K.

Archives--Dave K. (Nancy S. co-Chair)

International Conventions/Regional Forums--Nancy B.

After all have had some opportunity to have lunch, we will reassemble to hear the committee reports. There will be a short opportunity after each report for questions or brief discussion. Remember that this event is to help the Delegate know the input of the Area. Participation by DCM's, District Standing Committee Chairs, and GSR's is crucial to this effort. Any A.A. member is invited.

At the end of reports, we will view the Conference-Approved video, Hope: Alcoholics Anonymous. We hope to adjourn by 2:30 or so. SEE YOU THERE!
